Access:
 Southwest of Frazier Park via Frazier Park Road to Lockwood Valley Road (paved roads). Then Lockwood-Ozena Road (9N03) and Lockwood Creek Road (8N12) to trail head (dirt roads). Follow Piru Creek Trail (20W07) from Half Moon Campground (5½-mile backpack), or Stone House Trail (20W30) along Mutau Creek from alternate trailhead (4-mile backpack). Abandoned Stone House campsite is at junction of Mutau and Alamo Creeks. Recommend camping instead at junction of Alamo and Piru Creeks.

Special Features:
 This area is in an old gold mining district that was worked in the mid to late 1800s. Kincaid cabin on Piru Creek is an old miner's cabin made of stone and wood.
